                                                     Gary Brown
                                                 " Comin' Home "

Like many others, Gary Brown lost everything in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. He is currently performing in cities other than New Orleans.
After many, many years as a popular Bourbon Street " Headliner ", Gary felt the heartbreak of Katrina in his musician's soul, and collaborating with producer/engineer JBo ( Smokey Jones ) Hopkins and Sam ( Soul Machine ) Henry, put together this magical new album " Comin' Home ", which features songs and feelings of all who suffered and are scattered by the storm.
Do you wanna hear the truth, listen to " Tell It Like It Is ", wanna feel hope, hear it on " Comin' Home ", the title song written by Gary's son, Derrick Brown, or " Oh, Happy Days "; hear the pain in " I've Got Dreams To Remember " and various " Louisiana 1927 " versions or the sorrow in " Drownin' In My Own Tears ",  and celebrate Gary's talent and heritage with the funky " Pitch A Boogie Woogie " or  Ray Benson singing " Lost Mind ".

So we're calling on all you soulful folks  who love great music and feel inspired to help restore the magic of New Orleans' music to do your part, listen, play, tell your friends about this " slammin' " CD,  in the words of Dr. John, " Don't miss'em when they come your way".
